Lise Michelle

Born in The Queen's Medical Center to Melifel Buan Suguitan Childers and Chet Cory Childers, Lise Michelle (they/them) was raised in Kalihi Uka. They weave lau hala with Keanahala, a community weaving program based on Oʻahu that focuses on weaving moena and our relationship to the pūhala. In their waking time, they are also a collector of fragmented dream memories through methods of ulana, practice, and performance.
