“Inspired by lei and traditional Hawaiian mahiole (helmets), he created extravagant and sometimes creepy arrangements with curling stargazer lilies, festoons of purple crown flowers, looping pine needles, draping Medinilla berries. “I don’t set out with a specific vision,” Noah Harders says. “I let nature guide me. Each plant has its own energy that I take on when I work with it, inspiring its own design and story.”
